Storivy (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you visit www.storivy.com or use our mobile application (“App”), together referred to as the “Services”.

By using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

 

1. Who We Are

Storivy provides a family-oriented storytelling experience intended for use by adults, such as parents or guardians, who create personalized story content for children.

 

2. What Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

 

A. Account and Contact Information

When an adult user creates or manages an account, we may collect:

• name
• email address
• account identifier
• login method and authenticationrelated information

We use this information for account creation, login, account management, customer support, and service-related communication.

 

B. Story and Personalization Inputs

To provide the personalized storytelling experience, we may collect user-provided inputs such as:

• child’s name
• child’s age
• preferences, themes, interests, or similar customization choices
• other storyrelated inputs submitted by the user

These inputs are used to generate and personalize content requested by the user. They are not used for third-party advertising, profiling for advertising purposes, or cross-app tracking.

 

C. Optional Photo Data

If you choose to upload or capture a photo for avatar or character-related personalization:

• the photo is used only for the requested personalization feature
• the original photo is processed temporarily
• the original photo is not permanently stored on our servers
• we do not use photos for identity verification, biometric identification, advertising, or tracking

 

D. Purchase and Subscription Information

If you make a purchase in the App, we may process or receive information related to:

• subscription status
• credit purchases
• transaction identifiers
• purchase history associated with the user account

For purchases made in the mobile App, we use Apple In-App Purchases and/or Google Play billing, as applicable. We do not collect or store full payment card details from those app store transactions.

Credits associated with a user account do not expire and remain available for use, including after a subscription ends, subject to the applicable functionality of the App.

 

E. Technical and Usage Information

We may automatically collect certain technical and usage-related information, such as:

• device type
• operating system
• app version
• IP address or approximate location derived from IP where required for security or compliance
• language settings
• crash or diagnostic information
• general product usage information

We collect this information to operate, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Services.

 

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal data only where necessary to operate and improve Storivy. Depending on the context, we use your information to:

• create and manage user accounts
• authenticate users and maintain account access
• generate personalized stories and related content
• process subscriptions, credits, and other purchases
• manage user credit balances and access rights

• maintain service security, stability, and fraud prevention
• improve app performance and user experience

We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data with third parties for behavioral advertising or cross-context advertising purposes.

Storivy uses AI-supported and automated systems to generate personalized stories and related outputs based on user-provided inputs.

For this purpose:

• personalization inputs may be processed through secure thirdparty infrastructure
• processing is performed solely to provide the requested content and support the Services
• we do not use your personal data to train public AI models
• we do not use optional photos for biometric profiling or identification
• we apply reasonable privacy and security controls to the processing environment
• we do not use personalization inputs to build user profiles or for advertising, tracking, or profiling purposes.

 

5. Children’s Privacy

Storivy is intended for use by adults acting on behalf of children. We do not knowingly allow children to create accounts or directly submit personal data to us.

Where child-related information is provided through the Services:

• it is expected to be submitted by a parent, guardian, or another authorized adult user
• it is used only to provide personalization and storytelling features within the Services
• it is not used for advertising, tracking, or building advertising profiles
• it is not knowingly sold or shared for advertising purposes

If we become aware that personal data has been submitted directly by a child in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

 

 

 

6. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable under data protection law, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

• performance of a contract, such as providing the App, account functionality, subscriptions, credits, and story generation

Examples of providers used in our ecosystem may include Supabase, Apple, Google Play, RevenueCat, analytics, diagnostics, or performance monitoring providers, and AI infrastructure providers, depending on the feature or platform context.

We require service providers to handle data under appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations.

• optional uploaded photos are processed temporarily for personalization and are not permanently retained unless clearly disclosed at the time of submission

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own through the use of global infrastructure and service providers.
